A good trick:

"Hey man do you want to go to this comic book convention with us?"

"Uh... yeah I guess so, why not?"

"How fucking nerdy are you? You can go by yourself, fucking nerd."

An exert from "After the Quake" by Haruki Murakami:

"Mutual understanding is of critical importance. There are those that say 'understanding' is merely the sum total of our misunderstandings, and while I do find this view intresting in its own way, I am afraid that we have no time to spare on pleasent digressions. The best thing would be for us to achieve mutual understanding via the shortest possible route. Therefore, by all means, ask as many questions as you wish."

Tony asked me today: "Would you rather be The MGM Lion at the begining of movies or Ryan Leaf?"

A few days ago I checked off one of the things on my lifetime to do list. I called into a sports talk radio show and got on the air. I talked about the Pistons losing the series against the Heat as opposed to the Heat winning it and the hypocracy in the mdeia concerning how much the Lakers needed a third scorer versus how much the Heat need a third scorer. I felt as though I was articulate and hung up before I over stayed my welcome, perhaps this might become a regular thing for me to the point where I'm one of the guys with a nickname.
